Hi guys and girls,

First of all, Happy 2010!!

Can’t believe time’s been flying so fast. My bro came back from from US 3 weeks ago and now he’s gonna leave again. I’ve worked in this company for almost one year. Europe was 2008, and it’s now already 2010.

I’ll start off with some news first, something which I’ve been wanting to announce but never really got the chance or time.

I … am…. now… engaged ! :)

Hehehe.

I know, this news came as a surprise to me as well as everyone of you (who were surprised). Didn’t really expect it to this early but now that I think of it, one year of planning ahead is just nice.

He proposed on the eve of my birthday. He brought me to a Jap restaurant (with superb superb view, but the food is so-so) and in the meantime my friends and parents were planning away to surprise me in my house! So sneaky! They even parked their cars further away (hmmm especially Andrew coz I could memorize his Carplate number already!) and took their shoes to the kitchen. So I came back, a happy girl, hugging the teddy bear and telling my dad about dinner, when suddenly he brought me to the kitchen, opened the door and ……….my colleages and friends walked out singing ………………..

I was already quite dizzy with the first shock, I didn’t even think that a second one would occur. Seriously I have to give credit to all the aspiring actors and actress for acting and hiding from me the whole time!! My colleagues who knew about this for so many days and didn’t utter a single word to me ! My parents !! Usually my mom would accidentally spill it but she didn’t !

So we played Mafia, after the singing and wishes. Everyone was already crazy over Mafia (because we just played 4 hours of Mafia one week before that), so since I was also a Mafia maniac, I joined in without any suspicion. Cards were being distributed and they were Hearts. Good hint but I didn’t get that. We played one game, found the two mafias, and then we played another one, with timtim being the Narrator.

Little did I know that those aspiring actors and actress already planned beforehand that the proposal would happen on the 2nd mafia game, on the 2nd “night” when mafias come out to kill. I got the mafia card and my mom “accidentally” told everyone I’m the mafia so we had to replay again omg!!

So on the “2nd night”… everyone closed their eyes.When I woke up he was there, with flowers and a ring. I kept admiring the ring hahaha (ok that’s mainly because he’s been bragging about the ring for a long time!) and I finally said yes! Apparently they were having bets whether I would say yes or not… >< and my colleagues were quite worried for him ><

But I said yes, and the wedding is on! It is going to be at end of December ……2010.

So this year’s gonna be a busy busy year for me. We have a wedding to plan !

Thanks again to all the aspiring actors and actresses. You have totally fooled me, I didn’t suspect a THING! The first thing I asked when I saw him kneeling down was ……. “Did everyone already know about this ?!” >< Gosh. Felt so stupid for being in the dark for so long.

So I am officially engaged. :) Although there are no plans for any engagement party yet. Don’t think there will be because we’re having shortage of funds.

We’re also planning to buy a place. We’re looking at Saffron @ Sentul East, something that I’ve been eyeing for a long time – because of it’s location, and it’s future development. We’re looking at their 3bedroom+3bath units (with the open kitchen concept)…. so if any of you know anyone who is selling, please contact me by leaving a message here……. !

So maybe all my posts this year will be about my upcoming wedding. But all the preparation will make me exhausted. I’m already quite exhausted from all the looking around, meeting around, and people asking me questions on whether I have done this, that, that, this, and everything else. Maybe you can read my blog and I will tell you what we’ve accomplished so far.

We have already engaged a bridal store on a package deal (really really hope we’ll like it). Did I mention that I really really love Adam Ong’s photography ? That’s one of the reasons why I chose this bridal store. He came from there. Well, he already left the company I believe. Anyway, will show you his pre-wedding shots next time and I guarantee you’ll fall in love with it. I saw some other pre-wedding shots of the same location (ok it’s PARIS) but photographed by a different photographer from a different company, and to me it just didn’t bring out the feel of Paris to me. I’ve been there and I know how Paris is like. Adam’s pictures are so romantic. The other photographer, Bleh.
